Who we
DGI, the Diamond Gemological Institute, is a respected, well-known gemological laboratory based in the Israeli Diamond Exchange complex in Ramat Gan. It is recognised by the Israeli Diamond Controller as an authorised gemological laboratory, and is ISO 9001 approved.
Under new
DGI is today owned and led by Ilya Katanov. Building on the laboratory’s established reputation, Ilya carries its work forward, keeping the exacting standards the trade has come to expect, while investing in the people, instruments and processes behind every report.
The aim is unchanged: a reliable, professional and leading gemological laboratory whose word can be trusted, by the industry and by the private client alike.
